Needs Based Design is an approach, framework and method for constructing and maintaining communities that help society move towards, and beyond, sustainability.
Needs Based Design was developed as an academic thesis for the Masters in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability program at Blekinge Tekniska Högkola in the Spring of 2008 by Nat Haltrich, Ella Lawton and Geoff Stack.
